NEW HEAVY DUTY MODEL WITH FITTED ANALOGUE TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER

The temerature controller makes flash drying easieir and quicker , curing easier, plastisol transfers semi curing easir.

The temperature controller is critical for curing waterbased ink at the high temperature of 185 deg c, it helps to avoid scortching light coloured garments.

Ideal for home and workshop conditions. 2500 Watt Flash Dryer with a 16" x 18" Drying Area. Steel Powder Coated heavy duty Roller Base for easy mobility and stability. Handle to use when manoevering in position to allow handling without the danger of burning your hands when moving over the printed garment. Has an adjustable  neck which allows the head to be fixed in different heights to accomodate different printing machines.  Head also rotates 45degrees left and 45degrees right.

It will touch dry plastisol ink and waterbased in 10seconds and completely cure plastisol inks and standard waterbased inks in 25 seconds depending on the thickness of the print and the distance from the garment.  For Opaque waterbased inks or prints with heavy multi-layers we recommend a heat press or tunnel dryer.

Must not be left unattended and must not be used without adult supervision as the heating element becomes very hot.

HOW TO USE
 

1.set the flash dryer 30mm above the printed t.shirt

2. switch it on and set the temp cotroller to 5. allow 10mins to heat up away from the printed garment

3. place the flash dryer over the printed garment for 10 seconds

4.using a hand held infrared lazer thermometer take a reading off the garment. you may have to move the flash dryer away to do this.

5. the temp should read 110 deg c which is touch dry for plastisol and waterbased inks. if it doesn’t reach 110 deg turn the temp controller to the next heat level and repeat the process until the flash dry temp is achieved.

6.to flash cure turn the temp controller up to heat setting 7  allow a few minutes to reach the higher temperature.

7. place the flash dryer over the print area for 30 seconds take the temperature reading off the print with the hand held lazer thermometer, the temperature should read 155deC. if it doesn’t adjust the controller to the next level and repeat the process until you achieve the correct heat cure for plastisols.

8. for waterbased inks, adjust the heat control until the temperature reading off the shirt reads 185 degC for 30 seconds.

9.When you have the correct temeprature setting for the environment you are working in, mark a small dot on the temperature controller for future guidance on repeat curing.


For plastisol metallics ,expanding inks, Waterbased inks we recommend an oven or a heat press for fast fully cure.
